                                  Please view this week’s lesson plan here:  Week of Nov 27 First week of Advent- grades 2-6 will focus on Advent in Religion class in the coming weeks. Celebrate around the world! We will learn about Kwanzaa, Hannukah and Christmas in Social Studies. Every winter we celebrate holidays. Depending on our faith or background, we might celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa or Yule. Though each holiday comes with different customs, they have one thing in common: the celebration of light during the darkest time of the year.                         December calendar can be viewed here:  December 2022                        Feast of Immaculate Conception, School Mass 10AM - parents welcome! Canned Food Drive  collection was 1172 cans that were delivered by the students of the 8th grade to Notre Dame Food Pantry on  Wednesday November 23rd.   Thanksgiving Mass is this Wednesday at 10am, featuring choir comprising of students from grades 2,3,4 and 5. Parents are welcome! Please note there is no school this Thursday and Friday.                           Happy Thanksgiving ! PT CONFERENCE LINK If you have more than one child as my student, please only sign up for one slot.  5th grade homeroom students are a priority, so please understand if I have to consolidate some of the slots to accomodate 5th grade parents. As a reminder, I teach Religion to grades 2-6 and Social Studies to grades 2-4 only. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! I look forward to seeing you in person or on Zoom this Wednesday.  Wednesday 11/16 will be an early dismissal day due to PT conferences. During this month of November, we will be collecting canned food for the poor.  The class with the most donated cans will win a pizza party.  Please bring in cans.
