Curriculum update for this week: Social Studies grades 2,3 will continue learning about communities around the world this week, as well as how to use maps, globes and compass/ cardinal directions. Social Studies grade 4 will learn about government formation in early days after war for independence. Religion Grade 2: our objective is to   present Jesus as the model for Christian Living, and to learn about the sacraments of Baptism, Penance, and Eucharist. Religion Grade 3:  Ascension: (Mark 16:19-20) 40 days after Easter, Jesus returned to God the Father. We will one day be united in heaven with Jesus and the Father. SADLIER: We Believe - Chapter Religion Grade 4:  Sermon on the Mount - The Beatitudes Religion Grade 5: Review Sacraments at the Service of Communion;  In depth study of St. John Paul II Religion Grade 6:  Precepts of the Church

 Parent-Teacher conference sign-ups are listed below: In person only 1-3pm  Sign up link Zoom only:  Sign up link Please make sure to sign up for the correct meeting, as I will be unable to change them once they are complete. The zoom link is copied into the sign-up link for online meetings. In person meetings will be held in 5th grade homeroom on the 3rd floor next to Nurse’s office. All conferences are to be held on 4/21 -if you are unable to meet with me that day and would like to receive some feedback on your child’s progress, I will be available via email after the date of parent teacher conferences. Thank you for your support and understanding. As a reminder, I teach Social Studies as well as Religion to grades 2, 3, and 4; Religion only to grades  5 and 6. 4/20 Homeroom announcement for parents: All students have received their report cards today. Parents, please have them reviewed before your parent-teacher conferences tomorrow. Students may wear DRESS UP ( elegant/fancy) cloth
