Week of 9/12


Dear students and parents,

Please read below for some important announcements.


HOMEROOM- please bring all the forms that were sent home, filled out by this Thursday. Once every  fifth grade student brings in the filled out forms, thy can be sent down to the administration.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES- thank you to all students who brought in the required school supplies; please note that the notebooks, pencils and folders stay in your backpacks and not in the homeroom.

TEXTBOOKS- students in grade 2 through 6 received a new Religion textbook, please make sure to adhere to the textbook loan agreement regarding taking care of the books. Students in grade 4 received textbooks as well for Social Studies.


HOMEWORK- homework for Religion class will be assigned on Mondays and due you on Tuesdays, homework for Social Studies will be assigned on Tuesdays and due on Wednesdays, with the possibility of switching the two options as needed. Any time the homework is assigned it will always be due the next day.



FEAST OF ST CORNELIUS, SCHOOL MASS 9/16

New OLQM school choir will be featured this Friday for for school mass. Parents are welcome to join us in celebration of the Eucharist.

Final exams: Religion Final Exam grades 3-6 is on May 25th (Thursday) Review is ongoing and all materials are provided in Google Classroom, textbook and notebook. Week of June 18 2023- LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

  Important updates for the last week of school: - We will have a pizza party on Thursday, students please bring $5 each by tomorrow -Students wear dress down clothes except for FRIDAY, LAST DAY OF SCHOOL- FULL UNIFORM-REPORT CARD AND AWARDS DAY< 12 NOON DISMISSAL - Students will start to bring books home in their backpacks. Please leave all books and notebooks at home. Do not bring back to school the next day. No After School Program this week. Tuesday June 20, 2023 Students may wear dress down clothes this week -  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No After School Program this week. Wednesday June 21, 2023 Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga First Day of Summer Thursday June 22, 2023 Gym Classes today Grades K-8 Friday June 23, 2023 Students are to be in full uniform  Last day of School  Awards Day 10:00 AM in Church -- parents invited Distribution of Report Cards and NWEA MAP Parent Reports.   Reminders for this week:  There are no more Title I classes for the year. Please remember to pick up your child at regular dismissal time. Gym Day is Tuesday, June 13 this week On Friday, all students must be in FULL UNIFORM- very important for the Alumni Mass and Graduation Report cards and awards  will be distributed on the last day of school, June 23.
