Reminder - Students must attend the 1:00 PM Mass with Mr. Woods and the students of the Sacramental Program. 



This week in Religion instruction:

Grade 2 : Jesus is the Son of God

Grade 3: The Trinity: Model of our love for one another;  Need to use God's name with reverence

Grade 4: The Human Person (Gen. 1:27; 2:4b - 25): Ability to think, choose freely, and love

Grade 5:  Definition of Sacrament;  Signs and Symbols

Grade 6: Sacred Scripture

Social Studies focus lessons:

Mondays and Tuesdays

Grades 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 

Students in the After School Program will automatically be enrolled in the Extended Day Program

NWEA MAP Testing 
September 19th - September 29th

HOMEWORK- IMPORTANT SCHEDULE

 In order to assist parents in checking their child's homework the teaching staff has made the following schedule of when homework will be assigned and due for students in Grades K-8


Every Day - Monday thru Thursday
Mathematics and English Language Arts  

Mondays- Social Studies - due Tuesday
Tuesdays - Religion due Wednesday 
Grades K-8

Parents should accept the invitation to join their child's Google Classroom account. This way they can keep in touch with the teacher about assignments/projects.

The teacher's e-mail address are listed below on this blog and should parents  have a problem please e-mail your child's teacher who will work on rectifying any problems.

If you would like to meet with me in person or on Zoom, my office hours are Mondays 8:15-8:45 by appointment.

Week of June 18 2023- LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

  Important updates for the last week of school: - We will have a pizza party on Thursday, students please bring $5 each by tomorrow -Students wear dress down clothes except for FRIDAY, LAST DAY OF SCHOOL- FULL UNIFORM-REPORT CARD AND AWARDS DAY< 12 NOON DISMISSAL - Students will start to bring books home in their backpacks. Please leave all books and notebooks at home. Do not bring back to school the next day. No After School Program this week. Tuesday June 20, 2023 Students may wear dress down clothes this week -  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No After School Program this week. Wednesday June 21, 2023 Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga First Day of Summer Thursday June 22, 2023 Gym Classes today Grades K-8 Friday June 23, 2023 Students are to be in full uniform  Last day of School  Awards Day 10:00 AM in Church -- parents invited Distribution of Report Cards and NWEA MAP Parent Reports.   Reminders for this week:  There are no more Title I classes for the year. Please remember to pick up your child at regular dismissal time. Gym Day is Tuesday, June 13 this week On Friday, all students must be in FULL UNIFORM- very important for the Alumni Mass and Graduation Report cards and awards  will be distributed on the last day of school, June 23.
